Adding Images to a Page

If you would like to add an image to your page, first upload the image to the Media Manager on your site.

Edit the page you would like the link on.

Place the cursor where you would like the image to appear.  Click the image button in the editor.

In the window that will pop up, click the "Browse Server" button.  This will bring up the items in the Media Manager folder.  Browse to the file you wish to link to and click to select it.

To make text "float" around the image, in the "Align" select box, select either right or left.

Resizing images:  It is always best to have images display at the size that they were created.  However, you can resize the image by entering a smaller width in the image dimensions after it is selected. By default, the aspect ratio is locked.  If you enter the width, the height will automatically recalculate to stay proportionate.

Resizing an image to make it display at a smaller size is acceptable.  Do not resize it to make it larger.  An image optimized for the web is only at 72 dpi and scaling it larger will make it extremely grainy.

Click "Ok" to insert the image.
