Sale on Joomla Email Newsletter Component
For those of you who use Joomla as your web site platform, Joobi (a third party Joomla application developer) is offering a 30% sale on their components until May 1st, 2009. The discount code is SPRINGY.
I’ve used YANC for years for an email newsletter component; however, there is not a version for Joomla 1.5 and doesn’t look like there is going to be. As I am in the process of migrating a Joomla 1.0.15 site to 1.5, I decided to switch to Acajoom for a newsletter system. I was so excited to see that they had a sale on components when I went to order the component.
I’m half tempted to try out their new Jstore while the sale is going on.

Isn’t that a plugin rather than a component? Acajoom and Yanc are integrated mailing components for Joomla, they don’t require a third party subscription service.
